Bibliologia - A Doutrina Sobre A Bíblia

The Bible is the inerrant, infallible written Word of God.
It is verbally and plenarily inspired by the Holy Spirit of God in its original manuscripts.
Exodus 17:14; Exodus 24:4; Psalm 119:160; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; Revelation 1:11

God superintended its authors (over 40) to write His words using their own personalities,
being "borne along" by the Holy Spirit as a guide.
2 Peter 1:20-21

Only through the revelation of God to man could man know about these divine truths.
1 Corinthians 2:10; Galatians 1:12; Ephesians 3:3

In order for the believer to understand the Scriptures correctly, he must be illumined by the Holy Spirit as he reads,
studies, and meditates on the Word of God.
Luke 24:45; John 14:14,26; John 16:13; 1 John 5:20

The Bible must not only be read, but studied (including some knowledge of the original languages),
by the believer in order to reap the greatest benefit for growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Psalm 1:3; Acts 20:32; 2 Timothy 2:15; 1 Peter 2:2; 2 Peter 3;18

The Bible is divinely inspired in all its parts and has been authenticated
and proven reliable through these disciplines and others:

Science ~
Leviticus 17:11-14 (Blood)
Job 26:7,15; Job 40:22 (Earth)

Archaeology ~
Judges 1:26 (Hittites); Matthew 27 (Pontius Pilate); Matthew 5:26 (Coins)

Fulfilled Prophecy ~
Ezekiel 26 (Tyre); Matthew 24 (Jerusalem); Isaiah 7:14; Michah 5:2; Matthew 1:21-23 (Christ's first coming).

The Words of Christ ~
Matthew 4:4; Matthew 5:18; John 10:34-35; John 17:17

The is our guide, our authority, and our rest in these last days. It can be depended upon totally.
Psalm 119
